Transient Slips & Moorings

Transient Rates and Policy

All transient slip fees have a 20’ LOA minimum charge.

Transient fees include:

Slips (June 15 – September 14)

- Hourly - $20.00/hour (2 hour minimum)

- Daily - $2.50/foot LOA

- Weekly - $15.00/foot LOA

Moorings

- Daily - $2.50 per foot per day

Off-season slip rates are available between September 15th and June 14th:

- Hourly - $20.00/hour (2 hour minimum)

- Daily - $1.50/foot LOA

- Weekly $6.00/foot LOA

Transient vessels are considered any tie-up that occurs with a vessel that does not have a current seasonal contract with Cove Marina even if the owner has another vessel that is contracted for the current season.

Transient fees have a 20’ minimum length calculation regardless of the size of the vessel. Transient slip rates are calculated based on the overall length of the boat (Including engine, pulpit, platform, other overhang, etc.) and Cove Marina reserves the right to measure and adjust fees as it see fit.

Transient dockage includes power, water, Wi-Fi and use of the facilities. Transient moorings include a place to secure a dinghy at the dock.

All vessels at Cove Marina are required to have insurance. Advance reservations are recommended and a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

Check-in time begins at 12pm and check-out time is 11am. Please submit an advance request with Cove Marina, at the time the reservation is made, if you will require an early check-in or late check-out. Hourly fees may apply. Cancellations and/or changes to a reservation must be made at least 48 hours prior to the reserved check-in time. It is recommended that you submit your cancellation/change via email to confirm the date and time of the request.

Cancellations and/or changes made within 48 hours of the check-in time will be charged the 50% deposit fee for changes within the 48 hour period. For example, if you have a reservation for Friday and Saturday nights and you decide to cancel on Wednesday after noon, you will lose your 50% deposit for Friday, but no fee will be charged for Saturday (Fee will still apply for restricted dates).

Please check the weather and plan ahead. After a cancellation or change is requested, any remaining deposit may be applied to a new reservation made within the same calendar year. Deposits will not carry over to the next year. No exceptions will be made for weather, wind, breakdowns, running aground, illness or any other reason. Refunds will not be issued. Extended credits will not be issued unless there is a catastrophic force of nature such as a hurricane.
